Polymerupdate Team : Tell us about your early start up?
Mr. Iyer : We started our business in the year 1992 under the name "Shree Momai Fabricators Engineers." as manufacturers of different types of pulverisers. In the year 2001, we expanded our business in the name of "Shree Momai Roto Cast Containers (P) Ltd." We have started the roto moulding machinery manufacturing work shop with facilities to mould manufacturing under one roof. Now we are expanding our business worldwide under the name "Shree Momai". We will shortly be certified under ISO 9001-2000. We are members of Arm International.

Polymerupdate Team : How many plants do you have?
Mr. Iyer : We have one plant operational in Waghodia GIDC area with 25,000 sq metres and another one near Ahmedabad.

Polymerupdate Team : What are the different kind of machines manufactured by you? What are its applications?
Mr. Iyer : Different kinds of machines manufactured by us include range off machine like four arm six station biaxial plc control , three arm biaxial with fully automatic with touch screen, biaxial machine max. 10,000 litre ,shuttle machine, rock n roll heavy duty machine up to 40,000 litre with cooling station and close type rock n roll machine with capacity up to 5000 litre. We also manufacture pulveriser in stainless finish and we achieve production up to 300-500 kg/hr.  We are also making extruder, scrap cutter as well as all types of rotational moulding, moulds like stainless steel fabricated, machined moulds, casting moulds, custom moulding and designing also as per requirement .

Polymerupdate Team : How big is the machinery market in India?
Mr. Iyer : Nowadays machinery market in India is very good and people are going in for different products as well as water tank. Also pulveriser market is very good because all manufacturer use their own in-house scrap so it is good for recycling plastic.

Polymerupdate team : Do you have an export market for your products? If yes, to which countries.
Mr. Iyer : We do export to countries in the Middle East, Gulf, South Africa, Algeria, Libya, South American countries like Argentina, Bolivia, Australia and Asian countries like Bangladesh, Sri Lanka etc.

Polymerupdate Team : Do you have any future plans for capacity expansion or expanding your presence outside the country?
Mr. Iyer : We have already expanded our production capacity and are looking forward to increase our operational presence outside India.
