Asian Market News & prices of Benzene

Benzene plant operated at full rates by Taita Chemicals - Mar 14th, 2011 [04:05]

An industry source based in Taiwan informed a polymerupdate team member that a benzene plant operated by Taita Chemicals, Taiwan is running at full rates. The source said, "demand for the material is reported to be steady in the domestic markets. A maintenance turnaround is planned to be undertaken at the plant in mid April 2011. The shutdown will remain in force for around one month.” The source added, “located at Kaohsiung, Taiwan, the plant has a production capacity of 250,000 mt/year.”
