PX plants operated at full levels by SK Energy - Mar 11th, 2011 [15:55]

An industry source based in South Korea informed a polymerupdate team member that two PX plants operated by SK Energy, South Korea are operational at full rates. The source said, "since mid last month, the plants are operational at full capacity rates. Located at Ulsan, South Korea, the No.1 PX plant and the No.2 PX plants have production capacities of 400,000 mt/year each.” The source added, “the No.2 PX plant is planned to be taken offstream for a maintenance turnaround in mid April. The plant is expected to remain under a shutdown for around one month.”
