OPTEMA®TC-120
Ethylene Methyl Acrylate Copolymer for Extrusion Coating

Description
OPTEMA TC-120 is an ethylene methyl acryl ate copolymer which can be used for extrusion lamination and co extrusion applications engineering thermoplastics. It has been processed at temperatures up to where good interlayer adhesion between polyethylene, polypropylene, nylon, polycarbonate, PVdC, and other substrates is required. It can also be used as a heat seal layer in co extrusions and extrusion coating, but additional additives or process modifications may be required to prevent chill roll sticking. It has been processed at temperatures up to 625..F without degradation or gel formation.
