Ethylene prices climb in parts of Asia

On Friday, September 17, 2021 at 08:30 IST

Ethylene prices gained in some parts of Asia on Thursday.

CFR North East Asia ethylene prices were assessed at the USD 1110-1115/mt levels, a day on day increase of USD (+20/mt). The price rise was supported by continued tight product availability and improved buying sentiments in key markets like China. Stronger upstream crude and naphtha values further pushed prices higher in the region.

CFR South East Asia ethylene prices were assessed steady at the USD 1050-1055/mt levels.
