Official from 'The Supreme Industries Ltd' denies any links with private company Supreme Industries

In response to the newsfeed (Supreme Industries receives Govt nod to conduct human trials of life viro treat for Covid Treatment) - filed last evening on the Polymerupdate website, an official from The Supreme Industries Ltd contacted the company and said that the news report had nothing to do with ’The Supreme Industries Ltd’ or any of its group companies.

The reporter who filed the story contacted Hyderabad based NIPER (National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education And Research), inventors of the nebuliser that pumps medicine into the lungs to fight COVID 19 and asked who had partnered with them to develop the product. NIPER confirmed that the nebuliser had been developed with two private companies - Life Activus and Supreme Industries. Of the two, Supreme Industries was a pharma company based in Gujarat and had no connection with the listed company.

The official from The Supreme Industries Ltd meanwhile said, “ we are into plastics and intend to stay in plastics only.”
