Fujian Refining halts production at No.1 PP unit

Fujian Refining and Petrochemical (FREP) has taken offstream its No.1 Polypropylene (PP) unit in Quanzhou.
A Polymerupdate source in China informed a team member, “The company shut the unit for maintenance on July 19, 2023. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.”
Located at Quanzhou in China, the No.1 PP unit has production capacity of 120,000 mt/year.
