Tosoh Corp restarts Yokkaichi cracker
Tosoh Corp has brought onstream its cracker in Yokkaichi.
A Polymerupdate source in Japan informed a team member, “The company restarted the cracker on October 12, 2023. The cracker was originally scheduled to resume operations by the second half of September 2023. It was shut in an unscheduled manner on August 28, 2023 due to a technical glitch.”
Located in Yokkaichi, Japan, the cracker has an ethylene production capacity of 527,000 mt/year and a propylene production capacity of 315,000 mt/year.
