Sinopec Qingdao halts production at PP unit
Sinopec Qingdao Refining & Chemical has taken offstream its Polypropylene (PP) unit.
A Polymerupdate source in China informed a team member, “Operations at the unit were recently halted for maintenance. Further details on duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.”
Located in Qingdao, Shandong, China, the PP unit has a production capacity of 220,000 mt/year.
