Hengli Petrochemical takes PP and HDPE units off stream
Hengli Petrochemical has shut down its polypropylene (PP) and High density polyethylene (HDPE) units in Changxing Island.
A Polymerupdate source in China informed a team member, “The company has halted operations at the units on May 20, 2025 for maintenance. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.”
Located in Changxing Island, China, the PP and HDPE units have production capacities of 400,000 mt/year each.
