PTTGC brings No.1 cracker on stream
PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC) has restarted its No.1 cracker in Map Ta Phut.
A Polymerupdate source in Thailand informed a team member, “The company has resumed operations at the cracker around August 1, 2025 following an unplanned outage. The cracker was shut around July 27, 2025 owing to technical issues.”
Located in Map Ta Phut, Thailand, the No.1 cracker has an ethylene production capacity of 461,000 mt/year.
