Chandra Asri declares FM on supplies from Cilegon cracker
Chandra Asri Petrochemical has announced a Force Majeure (FM) on supplies from its cracker in Cilegon.
A Polymerupdate source in Indonesia Republic informed a team member, “The FM was announced around March 3, 2026, owing to feedstock availability issues. Further details on the duration of the FM could not be ascertained.”
Located in Cilegon, Indonesia, the cracker has an ethylene production capacity of 900,000 mt/year and propylene production capacity of 490,000 mt/year.
