Rayong Olefins Co (ROC) declares FM on supplies from Map Ta Phut cracker

Rayong Olefins Co (ROC) has announced a force majeure (FM) on supplies from its cracker in Map Ta Phut.

A Polymerupdate source in Thailand informed a team member, “The company announced an FM on March 3, 2026, due to supply disruptions affecting feedstock availability amid the ongoing conflict in West Asia. Further details on the duration of the FM could not be ascertained.”

Located in Map Ta Phut, Thailand, the cracker has an ethylene production capacity of 900,000 mt/year and propylene production capacity of 450,000 mt/year.
