Wanhua Chemical starts maintenance at Yantai PVC plant
Wanhua Chemical Group has taken its Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plant off stream last week.
A Polymerupdate source in China informed a team member, “The company is heard to have halted operations at the plant on March 3, 2026, for maintenance. Further details on the duration of the shutdown could not be ascertained.”
Located at Yantai in Shandong province of China, the PVC plant has a production capacity of 450,000 mt/year.
