Propylene prices plunge in Asia
On Wednesday, despite an increase in upstream crude and naphtha values, propylene prices fell sharply in Asia.
Prices weakened amid sluggish downstream demand, with buyers adopting a cautious approach and focusing primarily on need-based purchases.
FOB Korea propylene prices were assessed at USD 1015-1025/mt levels, sharply down USD (-30/mt) from Tuesday's assessed levels.
CFR China propylene prices were assessed at USD 1015-1025/mt levels, a steep drop of USD (-50/mt) from the previous day.
