Ethylene prices surge in Asia
On Monday, Asian ethylene prices rose steeply amid higher upstream crude and naphtha values.
Price increases were supported by limited supply, improved demand, and healthy buying activity across key Asian markets.
CFR South East Asia ethylene prices were assessed at USD 1075-1085/mt levels, a sharp rise of USD (+50/mt) from last Friday.
CFR North East Asia ethylene prices were assessed at USD 1095-1105/mt levels, a spike of USD (+50/mt) from previously assessed levels.
