This week, PP spot prices increased, while contract prices quoted flat in Europe.
An industry source in Europe told a Polymerupdate team member, “European polypropylene spot prices rose as declining import volumes tightened supply, outweighing the impact of soft demand. Reduced offers from the Middle East limited the availability of lower-priced cargoes, while shipments from Asia continued but were insufficient to offset the overall supply tightness.”

In the spot markets, PP injection molding grade prices were assessed at Euro 935-945/mt FD North West Europe levels, a week-on-week gain of Euro (+20/mt). PP block copolymer grade prices were assessed at Euro 1015-1025/mt FD Northwest Europe levels, a rise of Euro (+20/mt) from the previous week.
In the contract markets, PP injection moulding grade prices were assessed at Euro 1305-1310/mt FD NWE Germany and FD NWE France levels, both stable week-on-week. PP injection molding grade prices were assessed at Euro 1295-1300/mt FD NWE Italy levels, unchanged from last week. Meanwhile, PP injection moulding grade prices were assessed at GBP 1135-1140/mt FD NWE UK levels, up by GBP (+10/mt) from the previous week.
PP block copolymer grade prices were assessed at Euro 1405-1410/mt FD NWE Germany and FD NWE France levels, both steady week-on-week. PP block copolymer grade prices were assessed at Euro 1395-1400/mt FD NWE Italy levels, unchanged from the previous week. Meanwhile, PP block copolymer grade prices were assessed at GBP 1220-1225/mt FD NWE UK levels, week-on-week marginally higher by GBP (+5/mt).

In Antwerp, PP homopolymer prices were assessed at Euro 920-960/mt FCA levels while PP copolymer prices were assessed at Euro 1000-1030/mt FCA levels, both higher by Euro (+20/mt) from the previous week.
Propylene feedstock spot prices were assessed at Euro 750-760/mt FD Northwest Europe levels, up by Euro (+5/mt) from last week.
European propylene contract price for February 2026 settled at Euro 965/MT FD North West Europe levels. This price represents a gain of Euro (+15/mt) from its January 2026 settlement levels.
