This week, LDPE prices rose in the Asian region.
An industry source in Asia, on condition of anonymity, informed a Polymerupdate team member, “LDPE prices rose in Asia, with China recording a modest weekly increase amid improved sentiment and gradual downstream restocking. Gains were constrained by steady production, slow post-holiday operating-rate recovery, and ongoing inventory pressure. Seasonal demand in March is expected to sustain consumption in the near term.”

In Far East Asia, LDPE film grade prices were assessed at USD 950-1010/mt CFR levels, higher by USD (+10/mt) from the previous week.
In South East Asia, LDPE film grade prices were assessed at USD 1040-1070/mt CFR levels, a week-on-week increase of USD (+30/mt).
In India, LDPE prices were assessed at USD 1070-1090/mt CFR levels, a gain of USD (+10/mt) from last week.
In Pakistan, LDPE prices were assessed at USD 1060-1080/mt CFR levels, a week-on-week rise of USD (+10/mt).
In Sri Lanka, LDPE prices were assessed at USD 1120-1150/mt CFR levels, up USD (+10/mt) from the previous week.
In Bangladesh, LDPE prices were assessed at USD 1060-1090/mt CFR levels, an increase of USD (+20/mt) from last week.
Ethylene feedstock prices were assessed at USD 680-690/mt CFR South East Asia levels while CFR North East Asia ethylene prices were assessed at USD 700-710/mt levels, both week-on-week constant.
