On Thursday, propylene prices decreased across the Asian region.
Prices declined across key Asian markets due to weaker upstream energy costs and cautious buying activity. Buyers largely limited purchases to immediate requirements amid subdued downstream demand, while slow trading continued to weigh on overall market sentiment.
FOB Korea propylene prices were assessed at USD 1205-1215/mt levels, down USD (-20/mt) from Wednesday’s assessed levels.
CFR China propylene prices were assessed at USD 1225-1235/mt levels, falling by USD (-20/mt) from the previous day.
