Styrene Monomer (SM) prices slip in Asia
On Thursday, Asian SM prices moved sharply lower, in line with weaker benzene feedstock values.
Bearish buying sentiment further contributed to the downward price movement.
FOB Korea SM prices were assessed at USD 1440-1450/mt levels, a plunge of USD (-40/mt) from Wednesday.
CFR China SM prices were assessed at USD 1380-1390/mt levels, a sharp fall of USD (-40/mt) from the previous day.
Meanwhile, FOB Korea benzene feedstock prices were assessed at USD 1240-1250/mt levels, a day-on-day decline of USD (-30mt).
