PT Pertamina (Persero) is maintaining the national energy supply, particularly during Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr 2026, by taking various steps to strengthen (build-up) energy supplies, including fuel and LPG. This supply monitoring is carried out strictly through the Pertamina Digital Hub, Pertamina's integrated energy supply monitoring and control system from upstream to downstream.

The Pertamina Digital Hub is connected to all Pertamina businesses, allowing for clear monitoring of all activities and business processes.
"With this facility, Pertamina can continuously map the condition of energy supply and reserves throughout the supply chain, from upstream to processing, shipping and transportation, to distribution to Pertamina gas stations. We have access to data and surveillance cameras, even monitoring every second," Baron explained.
In the upstream sector, operations are ensured to run according to standards, so that the operational targets of each entity can be maintained.
Meanwhile, in the downstream sector, Pertamina is able to monitor the movement of ships carrying products or crude oil, as well as projected arrival times for these products or crude oil, which are then processed at Pertamina's six refineries. Optimization of domestic refinery operations is ongoing to support national energy security.
The use of high technology also makes it easier for Pertamina to monitor product availability at sales outlets, such as fuel at gas stations. Pertamina can monitor tanker crews during the distribution process to gas stations, and even monitor stock levels at each station.
"Through a single integrated dashboard, Pertamina can identify fuel and LPG consumption movements in each region, allowing for early anticipatory measures to be taken in the event of increased demand, extreme weather conditions, or global dynamics that could potentially impact the energy supply chain," he said.
Baron added that Pertamina's digital transformation is key to maintaining the stability of the national energy supply. In accordance with government regulations, Pertamina has secured national energy reserves above the minimum level.
"The government's reserve benchmark serves as a safety threshold that must always be maintained. As long as distribution and supply are operating normally, stocks continue to fluctuate, so Pertamina continues to maintain reserves above the minimum level. This is a risk mitigation measure and demonstrates Pertamina's commitment to maintaining energy security," Baron explained.
