Evonik has launched Protectosil ECO-TRETE ANTIGRAFFITI, a next-generation, alternative anti-graffiti solution with no added PFAS. Based on a high-performance silane chemistry formulation, the product combines long-lasting facade preservation with easy cleaning. Protectosil ECO-TRETE ANTIGRAFFITI thus sets new standards for the building protection industry and helps meet rising regulatory and sustainability demands for viable alternatives. The new product will be showcased at EUROCOAT in Paris together with SAFIC-ALCAN, one of Evonik’s long-standing distribution partners.
“Protectosil ECO-TRETE ANTIGRAFFITI demonstrates how we translate responsible chemistry into practical solutions for the building sector,” says Susanne Martens-Kruck, Technical Marketing Manager for Silanes at Evonik’s Smart Effects business line.
The advanced silane system forms a chemical bond with the substrate, ensuring durable performance and enabling graffiti removal without shadows or residues. “Even after repeated cleaning cycles, the protective effect remains intact, reducing maintenance efforts and supporting the long-term preservation of building surfaces“, adds Martens-Kruck.

Even though the new product contains no intentionally added PFAS, global industrial processes may still lead to minimal PFAS traces in supply chains. While today’s technologies cannot fully eliminate such traces, Evonik, however, is committed to reducing them wherever possible and continuously improving its production processes.
