NEO Corporate Public Company Limited , a leading innovator in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) in Thailand, in collaboration with PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC) through its "GC YOUTurn" platform for managing used plastics, announced a significant partnership with the Bueng Kho Hai Subdistrict Administrative Organization and the Bueng Kho Hai Senior Citizens Club in Lam Luk Ka District, Pathum Thani Province. The launch of the "Bueng Kho Hai Community Recycling Bank" project aims to implement a Closed-Loop Circular Supply Chain model, transforming household recyclable waste into valuable assets, generating income, providing savings, and tangible improvements to community welfare.

This collaboration aims to create a recycling ecosystem that connects all sectors. NEO supports the establishment of a waste bank in terms of resources, knowledge, communication, and coordination with the community, while connecting it to the NEO Circular Waste Hub. Meanwhile, GC YOUTurn contributes its expertise and database system to manage the entire process, from education and sorting to collection and the transfer of used plastic bottles, both clear (PET) and opaque (HDPE), to the recycling process at ENVICCO, a recycled plastic pellet production plant within the GC Group.
The core of the project is to concretely connect the system with the community, upgrading the "Bueng Kho Hai Community Recycling Bank" into a "Community Recycling Management Center" that can manage and benefit its members in the long term. Household waste will be sorted and collected through the waste bank before being sent for appropriate processing. Used plastics will be sent to ENVICCO to be processed into high-quality recycled plastic pellets (Post-consumer Resin) for reuse as raw material in the production of new packaging within the NEO group, such as BeNice brand packaging. Meanwhile, other recyclable materials such as steel and cans will be sent to suitable buyers or recyclers.
This process helps reduce the use of virgin plastic and greenhouse gas emissions throughout the value chain, aligning with the development of low-carbon packaging, the Net Zero Pathway goal, and preparing for the principle of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).

It receives support and coordination from the Bueng Kho Hai Subdistrict Administrative Organization, while the Bueng Kho Hai Senior Citizens Club and the recycling bank committee play a key role in operations, purchasing, weighing, sorting, and recording data via GC YOUTurn. Income generated from the sale of recycled materials is converted into savings and used for members' welfare. Sudrak Chaengruesuk, Chairperson of the Bueng Kho Hai Community Recycling Bank and representative of the Bueng Kho Hai Senior Citizens Club, said, “For our community, waste that was once considered worthless can now be transformed into income and savings. Importantly, community members are involved in managing it themselves. Senior citizens also play a role and can create value for the community.
