PTT Global Chemical Public Company Limited (GC) won two awards at the SET Awards 2026: the 10-Year Sustainability Recognitions and the Best Innovative Company Award for its Innovative PE Resin for Sustainable & Recyclable Packaging. This reflects the company's continued success in driving innovation and sustainable business operations. The awards were presented by the Stock Exchange of Thailand in collaboration with the Financial Banking Journal. Mr. Narongsak Chiwakarnan, Chief Executive Officer, and Mr. Saroj Phutthathamwong, Chief Operating Officer of the Value-Added Chemicals Business Group, accepted the awards on behalf of the company, reinforcing its position as a "real-world innovative organization" capable of transforming knowledge and technology into products and solutions that meet customer needs, create business value, and protect the environment.

Mr. Narongsak Chiwakanan, Chief Executive Officer, accepted the 10-Year Sustainability Recognitions plaque in the Sustainability Excellence category. This award is given to listed companies that have consistently maintained the Best Sustainability award for 10 consecutive years. It reflects GC's commitment over the past 10 years to conducting business with a focus on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors, coupled with the development of innovative, high-value, low-carbon products to support the industrial transition to a sustainable future.

Mr. Narongsak said, “GC would like to thank the Stock Exchange of Thailand for this prestigious award. It reflects GC's commitment to conducting business based on the principles of sustainability. We aim to build upon our expertise in chemicals and innovation to develop low-carbon businesses coupled with the circular economy, in order to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels, enhance operational efficiency throughout the supply chain, build business resilience, and create long-term growth opportunities. Because we believe that true business success lies in growing together with society and the environment sustainably.”

Mr. Saroj Phutthammawong, Chief Operating Officer of the Value-Added Chemical Products Business Group, represented the company in receiving the prestigious “Best Innovative Company Awards” in the Business Excellence category. This award reflects GC’s outstanding achievement in developing innovative polyethylene (PE) plastic pellets for recyclable packaging. Using molecular structure design and catalyst technology, the company enhances the properties of the plastic pellets, including strength, heat resistance, clarity, and molding efficiency. This supports the development of mono-material PE packaging with over 90% PE content, simplifying the design of recyclable packaging while maintaining customer-specific properties.

This success stems from GC's capability in developing integrated innovation, from the molecular level to commercial application. This includes the design and development of plastic pellets, laboratory and pilot plant testing, and real-world machine testing in collaboration with global customers and technology partners such as Windmöller & Hölscher (W&H), to deliver packaging solutions that prioritize both efficiency and sustainability. Importantly, this innovation doesn't stop in the lab but is actually applied in the market, such as in the packaging for Café Amazon coffee beans and CP fresh chicken bags, reflecting GC's ability to transform technology into solutions that create value for customers and promote the efficient use of resources according to the principles of the Circular Economy.

Receiving two consecutive SET Awards reinforces GC's commitment to differentiation through innovation, leveraging the expertise of its people, technology, and collaboration with partners throughout the value chain to develop solutions that address business and environmental needs, and drive sustainable growth.
