Styrene Monomer (SM) prices march higher in Asia
On Tuesday, Asian SM prices rose despite weaker upstream energy rates.
Bullish feedstock benzene values and healthy regional buying activity contributed to the uptrend.
FOB Korea SM prices were assessed at USD 1480-1490/mt levels, an increase of USD (+30/mt) from Monday.
CFR China SM prices were assessed at USD 1420-1430/mt levels, up USD (+30/mt) from the previous day.
Meanwhile, FOB Korea benzene prices were assessed at USD 1260-1270/mt levels, a day-on-day gain of USD (+30/mt).
