Styrene Monomer (SM) prices march higher in Asia
On Thursday, Asian SM prices increased, in line with stronger upstream energy rates.
Higher benzene feedstock values and limited spot availability further contributed to the upward price movement.
FOB Korea SM prices were assessed at USD 1450-1460/mt levels, an increase of USD (+20/mt) from Wednesday.
CFR China SM prices were assessed at USD 1390-1400/mt levels, a rise of USD (+20/mt) from the previous day.
Meanwhile, FOB Korea benzene feedstock prices were assessed at USD 1225-1235/mt levels, a day-on-day gain of USD (+20mt).
