Propylene prices increase in parts of Asia
On Wednesday, despite weaker upstream energy rates, Asian propylene prices rose sharply in Korea, while they remained stable in China.
FOB Korea propylene prices were assessed at USD 1205-1215/mt levels, an increase of USD (+25/mt) from Tuesday's assessed levels. Prices moved higher mainly due to rising costs and supply concerns in the region.
CFR China propylene prices were assessed at USD 1220-1230/mt levels, rolled over from the previous day. Subdued market conditions kept prices unchanged in the region.
